Throughout the history of the Deliberate Noise Network, I have had to reconfigure how I was going to approach several projects, I have had to turn some over to others, and I have had to end a few completely.
I have always hated to completely end projects. I guess that is why I have had a few that haven’t been updated in a very long time, but I keep them on the active roster in my head.
I also very rarely announce the ending of projects. This is usually because I work on them by myself and if they end, no one else is affected but me.
However, with my latest project to end, I have been working with Ed Moore, so I find it appropriate to announce something.
As of yesterday (September 18, 2020), the Comic Book Podcast Wiki has been taken offline. Thanks to everyone who visited the site, added information, corrected information, or just nodded and thought “That’s a good idea” when they heard about it.
As mentioned above, I especially want to thank Ed Moore, who contributed the most in terms of time and effort. His Comic Canoodle blog was instrumental in finding new comic book podcasts that I missed hearing about (and there were a LOT).
Now I have to think of another project to dive headfirst into. Or maybe I should get back to some of the others just sitting in the corner, waiting their turn to return.
