A little known fact about me is that unless I am referring to specific albums by Richard Pryor, I don’t use a particular word that starts with the letter N. I’m not saying that I have never used it, but even when I was younger, there were other words I would prefer to use.
My friends and I were more likely to call each other “motherfucker” than the other word. However, we mostly called each other “man”, if we weren’t using our names. To this day, I will use the word “man” more times in one conversation than I have used the other word in the past decade.
