I want an ice cream sandwich, but not just any ice cream sandwich. I had a great ice cream sandwich back in my freshman year of high school (1981). Most ice cream sandwiches have cake-like wafers, but this one had crunchy cookie style wafers. I’m not sure how they kept things from getting mushy or soggy, but they did it. Even after all these years, I still get a craving for it but I’m not even sure who made them.
Remind me to tell you about the best cup of coffee I ever had.
