Why my unemployment is good for the nation.

Ever since I was downsized, it appears as though gas prices have dropped nation wide. I got a tankful of gas at lunchtime at $4.19, got downsized and as I drove by the same gas station, the price was $4.15. Not nice.
The last time my car was out of commission, I hitched a ride with a guy who passed by my house. The prices fell that morning. I rode with him for a week and the prices stayed low. The day that my car was fixed, prices went up almost ten cents.
As long as my car isn’t going anywhere, prices fall. As soon as I have to go somewhere, prices go up.
However, I don’t like being unemployed, so enjoy the price break while you can.
